I am a freelance videographer with a passion for making concert videos trying to get the best sound and image quality. I like the idea that people that couldn't attend can watch it over and over again in the confort of their living room.
We shoot using multiple 4K camera, allowing lots of flexibility like reframing in post.
Our target is to give a sense of proximity with the artist, while making the video dynamic and enjoyable to watch.
The sound quality on a music video is even more important than the vision.
We record instruments, vocals and audience applause on different tracks, either through our own microphones – for acoustic concerts, and/or by picking up the sound engineer front of house mix. This allows us to improve the sound in post-production: balancing sources, equalization, compression.
When shooting with multiple cameras, grading is important to make sure the colors match between the different camera angles.
We record in RAW or Log formats, giving a lot of dynamic range and flexibility to match and color and give a cinematic look to the final production.
